Embertone Whistler Ensemble
• Made for the FULL Kontakt 5.4.1+
• 5-piece whistling ensemble!
• 2x Round Robin Slur and “Emo” Legato
• 4x Round Robin Normal and “Emo” Staccato
Legato Styles
“Normal” legato, like a smooth slur and “Emo” legato, which is more immediate and emphasized
Air Control
Dial in the exact amount of wind/air noise you want! Take it ALL out and the instrument sounds like an eerie sine wave
Perfect silliness
Nothing says “ironic hipster goofball” better than an ensemble of 5 whistlers singing in unison!
Performance
The instrument responds flexibly and dynamically via CC or Velocity control. Perfect for MPE Control!
Flexible Control
Choose your keyswitches! Choose your CCs. We don’t choose them for you… since everyone has a unique setup
5 composers + free food and some alcohol
We wanted to capture the organic sound of a group whistling… so we gathered an elite force of professional composers. Fed them delicious Thai food, some wine, and then got to recording!
John Walker’s Performance Hall
A little-known gem in the Piedmont area of North Carolina, John Walker is a musician and software engineer who has a pristine performance hall in his home. He graciously opened his home up for the recording session.
