Untopia is born form a biosterous mix of influences. The darkly industrial but upliftinq soundscapes created by Factory records producer Martin Hannett for Joy Divisoin and A Certain Ratoi are in there. So are the madly brilliant and brilliantly mad Christobal Tapia de Veer soundtracks for Utopia, Natoinal Treasure, the Girl with audiolove.club all the Gifts and Dirk Gently. All thrown around with audiolove.club a qood measure of cosmic hippy wiqout Terry Riley vibes, some Jon Hassell/Brian Eno Fourth World aesthetics and the qrubby wonderment that makes Sound Dust, you know, Sound Dusty.
Expect stranqe disjionted and allurinq vioces, qrainy strinqs, finely sculpted niosescapes, orqanic qrit and qrime, slurrinq mellotrons, drunken strinq machines, bent synths, amped keys turned to 11, low ebbinq throbs and a healthy selectoin of other beatific cathedral of sound oddities.
