INTENSE!
One of metal’s most solid drummers lays down the groove.
Intense, rhythmic, energetic. This veritable display of drumming excellence by Jason Bowld underlines the fact that metal isn’t all about blast beats and rampant tempos – it’s about the groove as well.
With a history in bands such as Pitchshifter, Bullet For My Valentine and Axewound, Jason has cemented a position as one of metal’s most solid and dynamic drummers. This goes to show in this versatile collection of grooves and fills. It takes you from basic, sturdy 4/4 beats and inventive double-bass patterns to finally combust in intricate 6/8 and 9/8 grooves – all infused by Jason’s highly energetic signature style and feel.
In essence, great, solid mid to uptempo grooves for any modern metal song in need of an ironclad foundation.
Works with EZdrummer, EZdrummer 2, Superior Drummer 2 and Superior Drummer 3 (optimized for 1 kick, 1 snare, 2 toms, 1 floor tom, 3 crash cymbals, 1 ride cymbal).
FEATURE SPOTLIGHT:
Performed by Jason Bowld (Axewound, Pitchshifter)
Drum grooves suited for a broad use in modern metal
Includes variations in 4/4, 6/8 and 9/8
