Introducing Dusted Crates by Erik Jackson, The Drum Broker’s go to A-List sound designer and drum architect.
Dusted Crates is a collection of 30 breaks that range from 20 seconds to a minute long. More than simple drum loops, Dusted Crates features drum phrases with plenty of change ups, rolls, & fills.
These breaks were inspired by years of digging for the perfect BIG drum break. The breaks have been recorded and processed to sound like they came from Vinyl. The breaks sound big, vintage, and grimy and are sprinkled with plenty of crackle, pops, and tape hiss.
The 8-minute demo only features 20 of the 30 breaks. These are long breaks, meant to give you plenty of opportunity to chop the phrases into smaller pieces.

The demo was recorded live using Erik’s MPC 2000XL.
This is a Breaks Only Pack. The other samples were used for demo purposes.
