CIEL is the DJ and promoter who is establishing Toronto as a vibrant dance music destination. Blending break-tinged house, acid, and trippy electro inspirations, CIEL has toured North America and Europe, attracting fans from around the world. CIEL is not only a melody-first electro DJ that dazzles, the artist is a major champion for women in techno: her Work in Progress parties exclusively feature music produced by women artists. In her first Splice sample pack, Liquid Air, CIEL shares trippy synth leads, exacted, song-length atmospheric one shots, provocative fx, and varied drum and bass sounds. Like her sets, this pack offers breakbeat electro samples both melodic and a touch abrasive, perfect for intuitively crafting a satisfyingly complex sound.
